Nacura ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Nacura website and application. What you record in Nacura may be among the most personal information you ever put into words, and we hold that responsibility seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version

• Your reflections and personal content are private by default.
• We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your content for advertising.
• Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• You can export or permanently delete your data at any time.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you request early access or contact us, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email address, and message. When you use the Nacura application, we store the content you create — intentions, reflections, journal entries, commitments, and related material — so we can provide the service to you.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate region, used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Nacura website and application.
• To respond to your inquiries and early access requests.
• To send service-related communications you have requested.
• To protect the security and integrity of our services.

We do not use the content of your personal reflections for marketing, advertising, or profiling, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate our platform (such as hosting and email infrastructure), each bound by contractual confidentiality obligations; when required by law or valid legal process; or in connection with a corporate transaction, in which case this policy will continue to apply to previously collected data. We will notify users of any material change in ownership or use of personal data.

Data security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we design our systems so that your private content stays private.

Data retention and your choices

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request an export of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or permanent deletion of your account and all associated content at any time by contacting hello@nacura.app. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.

Children

Nacura is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Not a medical service

Nacura is a self-directed reflection and integration tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical or psychological treatment, diagnosis, or crisis services. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your region.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the site or by email before they take effect.
