What exactly is Nacura?

Nacura is a continuity and orientation platform for transformation. It helps you prepare for significant experiences and transitions, stay oriented while you're in them, and — most importantly — integrate what you learn afterward so the change actually lasts. Think of it as structure for the parts of transformation that usually happen alone and unsupported.

What kinds of experiences does it support?

Any experience significant enough to change you: psychedelic medicine sessions, therapeutic breakthroughs, retreats, spiritual practice, and also the transformations life hands you without asking: grief, divorce, recovery, parenthood, career upheaval, illness. The common thread is that all of these generate insight that fades without structure. Nacura provides the structure.

Is Nacura therapy? Does it replace my therapist or facilitator?

No. Nacura is not therapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional care. It's a companion to that work. Many of our early users work with a therapist, coach, or facilitator, and use Nacura to hold continuity between sessions. Our methodology draws on evidence-based frameworks, particularly Contextual Behavioral Science, but the platform itself is a tool for self-directed reflection and integration, not a clinical service.

Does Nacura promote or provide psychedelics?

No. Nacura does not provide, sell, or promote any substance. We support preparation and integration, the before and after, for people who are already engaged in that work legally and safely, in whatever form it takes. Integration support is just as relevant to a life transition or a therapy breakthrough as it is to medicine work.

How is this different from a journaling app or habit tracker?

Journaling apps store what you write; they don't do anything with it. Habit trackers count repetitions; they don't know why you started. Nacura is organized around the arc of transformation itself: your intentions, values, and insights are connected across time, revisited at the right moments, and translated into concrete commitments. The goal isn't more entries or longer streaks, it's coherence between what you've realized and how you live.

What is the science behind it?

Nacura's frameworks are grounded in Contextual Behavioral Science, the research tradition behind Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), one of the most extensively studied approaches in modern behavioral psychology. Core ACT processes like values clarification, committed action, and psychological flexibility are built into the platform's structure. This is paired with practical insight from thousands of one-on-one client sessions conducted by our founding team.

Who sees what I write or record?

Your reflections are private by default. Nacura does not sell your data or use your personal reflections for advertising. If you are working with a practitioner through Nacura, you can choose to share certain reflections, recordings, or related information with them as part of a consent-based relationship. Without that consent, your personal reflections are not visible to a practitioner.

We use trusted service providers only as needed to operate and secure the platform. Additional privacy controls, including export and deletion options, are planned as the platform develops. Full details are available in our privacy policy.

I'm a practitioner. How can I use Nacura with clients?

We're building Nacura with practitioners in mind — therapists, coaches, facilitators, and guides who want their clients supported between and after sessions. If that's you, request early access and mention your practice; we're working closely with a small group of practitioners during this phase and would love to hear from you.

What does early access involve? What does it cost?

Early access members get full use of the platform, a direct line to the founding team, and a real voice in what we build next. During early access, Nacura is free. We'll announce pricing well before anything changes, and early members will be looked after.

What platforms does Nacura run on?

Nacura is being built as a mobile-first application with a companion web experience. Early access members will receive setup details with their invitation.
