Three founders. Thousands of sessions. One question.

How does change actually last? We each spent years approaching that question from different directions: behavioral science, one-on-one practice, and engineering, before realizing we were building toward the same answer.

Nacura was born from a simple observation.

The insight generated in transformational experiences, whether through psychedelic medicine, major life changes, or other expansive moments, too often fades without a structure to hold it. We watched it happen, over and over, across thousands of client sessions: people touched something real, and then watched it slip away for lack of continuity.

So we built the structure. Nacura is a continuity and orientation platform grounded in evidence-based behavioral principles, designed to help people prepare for, move through, and integrate transformation long after the experience itself has ended. It carries the discipline of behavioral science, the depth of years spent in the room with people at their most open, and the craft of a product built to be trusted with someone's inner life.

The people behind Nacura.

Will Hayslett

Co-founder & Product Architect

Will Hayslett is the co-founder and product architect behind Nacura, bringing together a lifelong fascination with human growth, a formal background in psychology and consciousness studies, and professional experience as an engineer. With a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Consciousness, Will has long been oriented toward the deeper questions of how people change, how insight becomes embodied, and how individual transformation connects to the broader evolution of humanity. His work is shaped by both intellectual rigor and lived curiosity: a desire to understand the inner architecture of human experience and build tools that help people move through life with greater awareness, coherence, and continuity.

At Nacura, Will leads the platform's product direction, technical strategy, and core application development, working closely with Max and Lisa to turn deep practitioner insight and behavioral science into a scalable user experience. He brings the discipline of a builder and the perspective of a systems designer, ensuring that Nacura is not only emotionally resonant, but structurally sound, adaptive, and capable of supporting meaningful growth at scale. His contribution is the bridge between vision and execution: shaping Nacura into a platform that feels grounded, intuitive, and powerful enough to hold the complexity of real human transformation.

Max Dougherty

Co-founder & Sales Director

As a co-founder of Nacura, Max Dougherty serves as a bridge between human transformation and technological innovation. Over the past six years, Max has dedicated his life to the art of deep, individual alchemy, conducting over 3,300 private sessions and one-on-one consultations. This extensive, front-line experience with clients navigating profound personal shifts forms the heartbeat and blueprint of Nacura's methodology. Max knows exactly where people tend to get stuck, what moves the needle, and why standard self-development tools so often miss the mark.

At Nacura, Max heads the core creative vision and the psychological "art of transformation," ensuring the platform doesn't just track habits, but actively guides users through their own meaningful evolution. Infusing the app's framework with an understanding of mythic and poetic structures, he helps ensure that the user experience is as resonant as it is effective. In addition to anchoring the platform's philosophy, Max serves as Sales Director and drives the brand's strategic marketing, translating years of intimate human insight into a powerful, scalable global vision.

Lisa Fox

Co-founder & Behavioral Science Lead

Lisa Fox is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, ACT practitioner, and licensed natural medicine facilitator whose work sits at the intersection of behavioral science, facilitation, and community leadership. Drawing on Contextual Behavioral Science, the same framework underlying Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, she has spent years helping people move through significant life transitions with clarity and intention.

For Lisa, Nacura was born from a simple observation: the insight generated in transformational experiences, whether through psychedelic medicine, major life changes, or other expansive experiences, too often fades without a structure to hold it. Lisa built Nacura to be that structure: a continuity and orientation platform grounded in evidence-based behavioral principles, designed to help people prepare for, move through, and integrate transformation long after the experience itself has ended.

The principles we build by.

Continuity over intensity

The peak experience gets the attention; the quiet months after determine the outcome. We build for the months after.

Evidence and reverence

Behavioral science and the mythic dimensions of human experience aren't opponents. The best tools honor both: rigor in the structure, poetry in the journey.

Growth without extraction

Our business succeeds when people genuinely change, not when they scroll longer. No dark patterns, no attention traps, no selling your inner life.
